Daniel’s Camaro was dropped off in order to start on the custom exhaust system. This has been an on-going project for Daniel and his dad, working to hit the road this summer. The big block was put into it a few weeks back and the 4 spd trans, still have some suspension things to address and go over the brake systems before it will be functional.
We had the car dropped off in these stages of assembly so we could work on the 3″ stainless exhaust system. We started by building the H-pipe for the system…
By placing the H-pipe into this exhaust system, it will allow an ample amount of back-pressure when tuning the carburetor and gaining low-mid range torque.
We’ll be working on the rest of the system this week, with Daniel requesting an inward dumping exhaust exit. The rest of the system will continue in 3″ to a pair of Super 44 Flowmaster mufflers just before the inward exit exhaust tips.
