Continued with the M3 Intake Manifold, adapting Velocity Stacks to the runners…
With the amount of runner length drawing from this massive plenum, yielding high amounts of horsepower won’t be a problem while still maintaining great throttle response from the factory S54 ITB’s.
Working with an SMG platform, a relocation for the SMG fluid reservoir was needed. We started by removing all the necessary brackets and hoses to map out the plenums position..
Maximizing the area the S54 “tilt” has on the intake side, restrictions/limitations are hard to see with this Intake design combined with one of our Tubular Exhaust manifolds and proper tuning.
A few more things are being done to button up the intake manifold this week; updates on finalization.
With the intercooler finished a couple weeks ago, we are also working on piping as you read this to couple the entire turbo system together.
